PCSG Mailing List
This discussion mailing-list has replaced the Bulletin Board. It is designed to facilitate discussion, collaboration and communication within the Primary Care community with an interest in gastroenterology. It is limited to healthcare workers, and joining is very simple - just send an email to pcsg-request@jiscmail.ac.uk giving brief details of who you are, (name, address, and occupation)… and welcome aboard!
Archives of previous postings are available at http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/archives/pcsg.html.
Once you are a member, any emails to pcsg@jiscmail.ac.uk will be copied to all list members who are always willing to venture opinions and advice on matters gastrointestinal. The same address is used for replies - but is usually easier just to click on “reply” in your email program. Members have set up endoscopy units in their GP surgeries, others work in the hospital environment performing diagnostic and therapeutic OGD’s, sigmoidoscopies and colonoscopies; and are usually willing to discuss the problems they encountered, and the solutions they found.
The PCSG has always tried to encourage research, particularly in the Primary Care setting, and list members can offer advice and guidance to those wishing to design or contribute suitable Primary Care research projects.
See E-mail list FAQ - frequently asked questions if you have any general questions about mail-lists.
If you are member of the list and want to post a question there is a browser interface available. You will be asked to set up a personal password initially if you use this way to post to the list rather than an email programme.
