Crohn’s and Colitis Care in the UK: The Hidden Cost and a Vision for Change
A new report, published today by the IBD UK alliance, of which the PCSG is a member, sets out the quality of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) care based on a unique and comprehensive assessment by both patients and services against the IBD Standards 2019. Crohn’s and Colitis Care in the UK: The Hidden Cost and a Vision for Change sets out a range of key recommendations to improve the care provided to IBD patients. IBD UK are calling for greater recognition of IBD as a priority by governments across the four nations of the UK and a defined strategy over the next 5 years.
