GastroCycle 2015

Last year Core and the BSG put on the first GastroCycle.

The event was a tremendous success, raising money for Core and awareness of the GI and liver disease.  It was so successful we have decided to do it again but this time with a twist.  Last year 50 cyclists rode from London to Manchester over 4 days.  This year we have selected a one-day route because we want more people to be involved.  We hope 250 people will ride with us from Cambridge to London on Sunday June 21st.  It is an event for all abilities but it will stretch all too as the route is based on the third leg of this year’s Tour de France.   Please join us for the day  and help raise awareness of GI and liver disease as well as money for research.

GastroCycle is a cycle event for all abilities.  There will be cycling enthusiasts looking to set personal best times and there will be groups of friends enjoying the view, pedalling leisurely and looking forward to lunch.

Registering for the ride will cost £75 and for this you will receive a jersey to ride the event, a medal on completion, complete support on the day, including food and mechanical back up.  All we ask is that you commit to raising £250 for Core.  We have a range of tips and ideas to help you raise money.

Sign up for GastroCycle 2015 today and get start training this winter to ride a Tour de France stage.
